When Jackson Calvert Accountants approached us to redesign their website we were more than happy to help.

Our design brief outlined the need to reflect the companies new expansion into the medium to large business market while maintaining a warmth that appealed to their existing client base of small to medium businesses.

Their previous website was a large accountants site that consisted of many years of informative input and had become somewhat unwieldy and difficult to navigate. As such the new website had to exhibit a simple structure and high usability.

As the customer has some web experience a full content management system was not needed. However, We felt it important that we utilise the power of a blogging system for its RSS feed qualities, interaction and ability to encourage user return. For this reason a simple blogging system was used on sites the news page. This allows for simple input of up to date information through a simple browser based interface.

A professionally produced video was integrated into the design to give a fast and friendly overview of the company.

Search Engine Optimisation was also an important factor of consideration to our client. After many successful years at the top of the search engines we hoped to maintain, even improve upon that position. We planned and produced the Jackson Calvert website to our usual high standard of design and compliance, ensuring the site is both usable and beautiful as well as accessible to users and search engines.
