Barking Mad Marketing Strategy For Pet Pout

Our design brief was to create a small, local circulation marketing campaign that could be used in local shop windows and notice boards that would introduce new business to Pet Pout, an internet based pet photography business located in Birmingham.

Pet Pout's overall image is that of a quirky, laid back photographic approach that is used to reflect the unique relationship between pet and owner.

Taking advantage of the creative free reign we were granted, Razor Smile suggested that Pet Pout utilise the Wanted, Lost and Found poster concept. The seemingly self produced poster is a guaranteed way of demanding attention, particularly when placed on a notice board that is, at first glance, full of advertisements.

However, we were aware that we didn't want to play on people's heart strings by producing a poster that was too authentic. We utilsed professional images over snapshots and ensured the logo was visable with plenty of textual content giving the immediate impression that the poster was not intended to be a genuine plea for a lost pet.

Pet Pout Marketing Campaign

Both Sioux and Jennifer, the Pet Pout photographers, have received much praise on the design of their website and marketing campaign with the feedback being very positive. We look forward to seeing this print and marketing campaign in fruition in and around the Birmingham and Solihull area and we are confident that it will offer a great return to the Pet Pout team.

The pet photography team are currently updating their website and pet portfolio. Why not take a look.
